Who is the winner??

Who do you think is the biggest winner to the Malaysia's 12th General Election??
Is it the rakyat? Or is it the Opposition? Or is it somebody in particular?

I think the winner is that particular somebody!! Though he did not contest for any seats due to being not eligible, but he seems to be the person who is behind and manipulating the outcome of this election. I must say he is a great planner and a great strategist. Since malaysia mudah lupa, everything seems to happen right before the election to stir up the angry feeling of the rakyat towards BN. This includes the Hindraff, BERSIH, Lingham case and etc. With all these, he has gotten the results that he wanted. He has gotten the revenge that he seeks for. He has gotten the satisfaction of seeing BN losing badly. He has also gotten a good opportunity to re-enter into the politics. I think this is the results that he had planned for and his success is not only due to the good strategy and planning but also from the help of BN themselves. If BN members are not as arrogant, he wouldn't have won so greatly. If BN members did not say or comment the things that they shouldn't had he wouldn't have won so greatly. If BN has got nothing for him to stir up, he wouldn't have won so greatly. His success is also because he knows what BN is all about.

Why did I say that the rakyat did not win?? Do we really want opposition to run the state / government if all these did not happen?? The rakyat have chosen opposition to teach BN a lesson. Yes, we have achieved that but will this be good for the rakyat and the country?? Will the young and inexperienced be able to do the job well?? Why are we choosing the party instead of the person?? Why does those who are good and really able to perform in the past years being forced to leave just because they are in BN while those who don't perform are being remained just because they have no opposition competing with them?? In this election, we have lost a lot of good leaders. It is the rakyat's lost. However, I must admit that there are some who are padan muka for losing!!

Now all we can do is hope that the opposition is able to deliver what they have promised. Less racism, less corruption, less Lingham case, more fairness and equality, more transparency, more tax payer's money put into good use!! Hopefully in the transition, we will build up some great leaders and all Malaysians will learn to respect each other despite of their race. Here is a dream towards a country that is equal to all its rakyat and no favoritisms, no nepotisms, no corruptions where every rakyat feel that they belong to the country and want to serve the country because they are part of it.

*Solely my personal views and opinions =)

Amanda, yup yup.... but I think all these issues has already happened way before Pak Lah's time. But it is building up slowly to an unbearable stage and made worse by him for stiring up so many things.... which is good in a way... at least now we feel that there is hope... and hopefully the winner will be Malaysia...
