Technically, Day 8 is the last day but its not counted cause the whole day is spent at various airports - Melbourne - Sydney - Singapore - Kuala Lumpur!

Australia Day 1: Arrival at Sydney
Anyway, on the last day in Melbourne, we started the day with Queen Victoria Market, which I think its a waste of time!! Haha!! Why?? Cause the stuff that is sold in QV Market is basically from China, Bangkok and etc but at a much much higher price!! Of course unless if you want to buy fresh fruits, vegetables, poultry or seafood then its a good place to go!!
Had lunch at the QV Market food court. My dad was trying to make up for the seafood we missed out at Sydney Fish Market by looking around the market to see if they serve any cooked fresh seafood but then we have no luck! No cheese baked lobster =(((( So the closest we could have are these..... grilled fish, deep fried oysters, king prawns, squid and crab meat.
After lunch my dad went to the Crown Casino while the rest of us went to the Southbank Promenade and walked along the Yarra River.

Walking further down the Southbank, we reached the Crown Casino as well. Hence we went in to look around.

But since we are not gambling, we decided to leave after looking around. We then walked back to Southbank. Since the weather was good and not that cold, we had gelato!

After that we went to some gardens AGAIN!!!!! This Yun la!!!! Like garden so much!!

Then its time for a break!! We went to the famous Koko Black for chocolates!! =D
The ice chocolate is SUPER DUPER YUMMY!!!!!! Chocolate drink with a scoop of milk chocolate and another scoop of white chocolate ice cream plus thick melted chocolate sauce!! WOAH!!!!! I will definitely order this again if I ever step into a Koko Black =D

Later, we went to Victoria Harbour to meet up with my dad who has been gambling in Crown all these while!

Then we walked further down to New Quay and Waterfront City to have a look and had dinner there.

We had Italian for dinner again! *hehe* What to do Australia don't have their own food!! And my bro wants his spaghetti carbonara!!

After dinner we went back to the hotel. But since Yun is meeting her friend Yan Yan and I thought why not we follow her to have the last taste of Australia! We then ended up at Max Brenner - another famous chocolate place!
Their chocolate is yummy but I was rather disappointed with their desserts though.... Doesn't taste as nice as they look. Its just the chocolate that is nice! And I actually wanted to order an ice chocolate drink with crushed cookies (cause the Koko Black's ice chocolate taste is still lingering in my mouth and my mind!!) but to my disappointment, they ran out of ice and is not serving any cold drinks!!!!!!! *ISH* *ISH* *ISH*

That's the end of my Australia trip!! I had a great time!! Though we did a lot of walking and my mimi couldn't walk that much.... So the next time we go for a holiday together, we will probably have to go on a tour! Then at least she doesn't have to walk that much! BUT we will miss out on the great food and the experience to explore the city on our own!! One thing I dislike about going on tour is that the food usually sucks and its also usually chinese food too!!
Anyway, the next time I go to Australia again, it will either be to Brisbane & Gold Coast OR if my bro is studying in Australia!!
