Today, our first stop is to DFO Outlet at Spencer Street. Thought I could get some cheap bargains since its duty free BUT sad to say I didn't buy anything =( The things that I like were not cheap and the cheaper things, I either don't need or don't like.... Anyway the cheaper things are not that cheap also la!! Only my bro and my dad bought something in DFO!! $#^$@%#@^%$ the guys bought stuff and not the girls????? *huh*
Anyway after that we went for dim sum (again) but this time it is much much better than Marigold in Sydney! We went to Shark's fin House at Little Bourke Street (Chinatown). Thumbs up!! Definitely one of the nicer dim sum places that I’ve been!
Family photo
Yummy yummy yummy dim sum!! Notice we tend to order the same things even in Australia!! *Haha*
After dim sum we passed by Koko Black but was too full to have any!!

Outside the Fitzroy Garden's Conservatory
The inside of the Conservatory is sooooo beautiful!!!!!!! Full of bright colourful flowers!! We spent so much time there taking photos! =D
Captain Cook's Cottage, at Fitzroy Garden
Captain Cook's Cottage is actually built in Yorkshire, England but was transported to Melbourne. Captain James Cook is arguably the most famous explorer of Australia (although he is actually British and was born in England) as he discovered the east coast of Australia, which he charted and claimed for Great Britain under the name of New South Wales.
More photos of Fitzroy Garden....
Fairies Tree
The Fairies Tree is carved by Ola Cohn, as a gift to the children of Melbourne. The foreword to her book, "The Fairies Tree", inscribed on the tree's plaque :
"I have carved in a tree in the Fitzroy Gardens for you, and the fairies, but mostly for the fairies and those who believe in them, for they will understand how necessary it is to have a fairy sanctuary - a place that is sacred and safe as a home should be to all living creatures."
We then walked to St. Patrick's Cathedral which is nearby Fitzroy Garden. St. Patrick's Church is the largest church in Australia and is the mother church of the Catholic Archdiocese and is the seat of the Archbishop in Melbourne.
Inside of the cathedral
My mimi so lebih. She was quite tired from walking and she said that she will pretend to pray but actually taking a nap!! *HAHA*
After that, we went to the Parliament House
Parliament of Victoria
Next we took the free tourist tram to the Carlton Gardens (So many gardens lar cause this Yun damn like to go gardens!! haha)
Inside the tram
The Royal Exhibition Building at Carlton Garden
Next up, we went to Smith Street for Nike and Adidas Factory Outlets. The stretch of street is full of sports goods factory outlets!! However, we were there a bit too late (around 5pm) and most of the shops closes at about 5-6pm. Adidas was closed but luckily Nike was still open! My sis bought a pair of sports shoes and needless to say, I didn't buy anything =( cause I don't need any sports stuff lar!!! Plus I already quit the gym so lagi don't need since I don't exercise that often anymore!!
After that, Yun met up with her friends while we went to Lygon Street for Italian food!! Lygon Street has the biggest selection of Italian restaurants and cafes of anywhere in Australia. The two sides of the street has got endless Italian restaurants!! It is soooo competitive that they try to attract customers by giving various discounts or freebies!! One of the shop owners didn't let us leave his restaurant when we walked pass and then scold us stupid for not eating there!! *HAHA* Such a scary old man!! There are so many choices that we didn't know which one to choose or which offer to take up!! But our selection criteria is that, the restaurant must serve Spaghetti Carbonara cause its my bro favourite dish ever and a MUST have!! Anyway in the end we choose one restaurant that has the most people and also no discounts or whatsoever! Cause they don't need that to attract customers!!
So many delicious looking cake to choose from!!
In the end we choose caramel cheesecake. (My mimi lovessss cheesecake!!)
